Township street - pedestrian safety improvements 03/24/2026

The two intersections are:

1. North Post Road - Courtney Drive - Municipal Drive

2. Canal Pointe Blvd - Emmons Drive - Wheeler Way

Their recommendations would be implemented as trial improvements at each location as a “Complete Streets Demonstration Project”, using paint, bollards and signage, prior to moving forward with designs for full intersection infrastructure renovation project plans and specifications. It is also a way of the town implementing something more rapidly than a full reconstruction project.

I expect to get proposals back in time to award at the late April Council meeting.
