REGISTRATION DEADLINES

• Deadline for Change of Party Affiliation Declaration Forms for Primary Election to be Filed with County Commissioners of Registration – April 8, 2026.
• Last day to register to vote for the June Primary Election is May 12, 2026.
• Voter Registration Form can be obtained by calling the Township Clerks Office (609-799-2400 ext. 225) or on-line at: Voter Registration
• If you have become disabled and can no longer sign your signature when voting, please reach out to the Mercer County Superintendent of Elections Office at 609-989-6750 for further information on your voter registration.

HOW TO GET A MAIL-IN BALLOT FOR 2026 ELECTIONS:

DEADLINE FOR MAIL-IN BALLOTS:

2026 PRIMARY ELECTION

• Deadline to Apply for a Mail-In Ballot by Mail for the Primary Election is May 26, 2026.
• Deadline for In-Person Mail-In Ballot Applications for the Primary Election is June 1, 2026 by 3:00 p.m.
• Deadline for Post Office Receipt of Mail-In Ballots for the Primary Election is June 2, 2026.
• Deadline for In-Person Submission of Primary Election Mail-In Ballots to County Board of Election and to authorized Ballot Drop Boxes by 8:00 p.m. Election Day.

2026 GENERAL ELECTION

• Deadline to Apply for a Mail-In Ballot by Mail for General Election is TBD.
• Deadline for In-Person Mail-In Ballot Applications for General Election is TBD .
• Deadline for Post Office Receipt of Mail-In Ballots for General Election is TBD.
• Deadline for In-Person Submission of General Election Mail-In Ballots to County Boards of Election and to Authorized Drop Boxes is TBD on the day of election.

How to Vote By Mail Video

WAYS TO RETURN YOUR MAIL IN BALLOTS:

1. Mail it at any US Post Office (must be postmarked by Election Day).
2. Deliver it In-person to the County Board of Elections by 8 p.m. on Election Day at 930 Spruce Street, Lawrence Township.
3. Avoid the Post Office and Deliver it to a Secure Drop Box by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day
4. Mercer County Secure Mail-In Ballot Drop Box Locations
