DEADLINE EXTENDED - WEST WINDSOR SEEKING VOLUNTEERS FOR POLLINATOR GARDEN PROJECT

We are currently seeking volunteers who can assist with any part of the construction, care and future maintenance of a pollinator garden. If you are interested in volunteering, please submit your contact information to the Engineering Division via email to engineering@westwindsortwp.gov

The Association of NJ Environmental Commissions (ANJEC) has selected West Windsor’s Environmental Commission for a $1,500 grant to support pollinators in the West Windsor Community!

The selected grant proposal is for the installation of an additional pollinator garden in West Windsor’s Community Park! Once constructed, the garden will complete a string of gardens in the area of the Skate Park. These gardens, serve as both an ecological enhancement and an educational resource for the community. Proven positives to these gardens are Enhanced Pollinator Habitat, Healthier Landscape Management, Improved Aesthetic and Recreational Value and Expanded Community Awareness and Engagement!

The proposal, currently in the development stages, is being led by the Environmental Commission’s Student Liaison, Yuzheng Wang.
