WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP ANNOUNCES 25TH-ANNIVERSARY 9/11 CEREMONY
AND TWIN PONDS MEMORIAL REDEDICATION

On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, West Windsor Township officially hoisted the 9/11 Flag of Honor at the Ronald R. Rogers Arboretum. Flying for the entire month of September, the flag marks the launch of a comprehensive site rededication project honoring all those lost on September 11, 2001.

The community is invited to gather for a special 25th-Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 6:30 PM. The ceremony will take place at the Twin Ponds 9/11 Memorial within the Ronald R. Rogers Arboretum, located at the intersection of Clarksville Road and Route 571.

This year's milestone event will feature:

Memorial Rededication: The official rededication of West Windsor’s Twin Ponds 9/11 Memorial.
New Site Addition: The debut of a new monument feature, generously funded by the American Legion Princeton Post 76.
A Tribute of 2,983 Flags: A powerful visual tribute featuring 2,983 flags planted in honor of every individual life lost in the attacks. The flags will be installed with the assistance of students from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South.
