PUBLIC NOTICE - UPPER MILLSTONE WATERSHED PLAN MEETING

PUBLIC NOTICE - UPPER MILLSTONE WATERSHED PLAN MEETING

Public Meeting: October 22, 2026, starting at 6 p.m.

Location: Cranbury Public Library – Large Meeting Room (30 Park Pl W, Cranbury, NJ 08512)

Virtually via Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81870198489...)

The Municipalities of Cranbury Township, West Windsor Township, Monroe Township, South Brunswick Township, Plainsboro Township, and Roosevelt Borough are working together to develop a single regional stormwater plan for the Upper Millstone watershed rather than developing separate plans in each town. The Upper Millstone watershed includes the Little Bear Brook and the flooding that occurs along Washington Road and Alexander Road.

This Watershed Plan is required under their New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) stormwater permits, which mandate actions to reduce pollution and flooding. This permit is known as the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Permit (MS4).

As part of the plan preparation process, the municipalities are holding a regional public meeting to discuss the stormwater permit requirements, planning process, and to gather local input.

The public is invited to attend the meeting to understand the process and the requirements, and to provide information regarding flooding, water pollution, stream erosion, failing stormwater basins, and other stormwater concerns in the neighborhoods within this watershed area.
