Important Update: January & February Yard waste collection shall not take place.

As we prepare for the winter months, we want to remind you that there will be no yard
waste collection during January and February. This includes leaves, brush, and other yard
debris.

Important Reminder: Please refrain from placing leaves and yard debris at the curb, on
roadways, or in bicycle lanes once the Department of Public Works crews have completed
their zone. This is essential for ensuring safe and efficient roadways during winter storms.

Enforcement and Penalties: To maintain public safety and comply with local regulations, the
Township will enforce Township Code Article VI Yard Waste Collection, Sections 150-26 and
150-27. To learn more about the penalties for non-compliance, please click here.

Your Cooperation Matters: Your cooperation is crucial! By adhering to these guidelines, you
help our Department of Public Works properly prepare roadways ahead of winter storms and
facilitate snow removal, which allows first responders from the Township Police Department
and local fire companies to respond effectively to emergencies.

County Roads Leaf Collection Schedule: Additionally, for those living along County roads,
please refer to the Mercer County Road Department for their leaf pickup schedule. You can
reach them at (609) 530-7500.
