SNOW STORM UPDATE - 02/22/2026

SNOW STORM UPDATE (SUNDAY 22ND 11:00 AM)

The National Weather Service has expanded Blizzard Warnings to include all of New Jersey and is warning that this could be a potentially historic winter storm with life-threatening travel conditions.

Snowfall rates are expected to exceed 1–2 inches per hour during the peak of the storm this evening through Monday morning. Whiteout conditions are expected, and travel may become dangerous or impossible.

This is not a routine winter storm. Once conditions deteriorate, emergency responders may not be able to reach you quickly.

Stay home. Avoid all unnecessary travel. Finalize preparations immediately.

Our Public Safety and Public Works teams are fully mobilized, but the safest place during this storm is indoors.

Please continue to monitor official Township updates.
