SNOW STORM UPDATE 3
02/23/2026
As off 10 a.m. this morning we have received 16 inches of snow. The snow is expected to continue till 6 p.m. today.
- Crews are currently plowing main roads. They will continue that as long as fresh snow is accumulating.
- Contractor currently plowing secondary roads. Plows are having a difficult time plowing curb to curb due to the amount of snow.
- We do not expect all secondary roads to be plowed before tonight.
The crews are working since 9 a.m. yesterday (Sunday) morning. We expect all main roads will be cleared by tonight and most of the developments. Given the amount of snow we will clear as much middle of the road as possible and have snow piles on both sides.
If your street has not been plowed by Tuesday morning please send us an email .
Your driveway will be covered when they push the snow. It’s not desirable but unavoidable. Once the storm passes, we will figure out what to do with excess snow. The NJ DEP has already warned us to be careful where we put it as the excess salt will end up in waterways.
Please thank the snow plow operator, EMS crews, police if you see them. They have worked long hours in very difficult situation.
Thanks for your understanding.
