DRAFT “MANAGED NATURAL LANDSCAPE” ORDINANCE

At the March 12th Environmental Commission meeting there will be discussion about the current draft Managed Natural Landscape ordinance. A PDF of the draft Ordinance and the presentation to the Environmental Commission. Managed natural landscapes, also commonly referred to as “pollinator gardens,” “rain gardens,” “natural lawns,” “mini meadows,” “pocket prairies,” and “managed meadows,” promote the use of indigenous/native plant material to provide environmental benefits and reduce reliance on traditional grass lawns.
