Colon Cancer Awareness Month

The council passed a “Colon Cancer Awareness Month” resolution at their meeting on Monday March 9th.

Colon cancer is the second deadliest cancer in the US. It is also one of the most preventable and
treatable with early detection. A regular screening is suggested for adults with average risk starting at age 45.
